Sooooooooooo I haven't ridden since Tuesday, which really stinks. But, I think I will ride tomorrow. I mightttttt ride Reno, since he was at a show on Friday and Saturday...so yea.
I checked out the barn today, and I LOVED IT!! It's a veryyy small barn, a mom and pop barn as my Mom said. This lady, Suzy, seriously just owns an indoor, this barn with about 8 stalls and a few acres of pasture. It's private because it's so little, and everyone else who boards there are just Suzy's friends that are trail riders who ride not too often. Soooo, it looks like I'm gonna be out there all alone. I'd rather go there for $275 a month then go to a place that's like, $500-$600 because of fancy heating and such were Madeline and everyone else will be. Also, Suzy's barn is only about 5 minutes away, so in the summer I could work something out with Madeline to trailer over a few times a week to ride at her place so that my horse will be used to the water and going to different places and suchh. I hope that it works out!!

My audition is going to be on Monday, because there wasn't enough time for all of the people on Thursday to audition. I was hearing all this stuff about how you had to sing infront of people, so I was like, EEK. Then, Mrs. Senek is like, "Oh well, guys, if you wanna do it individually, then we can." Whew.

Friday I had off, but was bored all day since Mad was at a show...so yea.

DDDDDDDDDDDDDURADO!!!! ♥♥

So yea, it's kinda odvious by the title that I rode Durado today. And he was AH-MAZING, as usual. He is so willing, and that's what I love about him. He's just like, a sponge. Litterally. I just wish that I could ride him in a different bridle, because I'm riding him in a elevator [last ring] with little elastic thingys in the reins. Ahwell.
Reno is NINTH in the standings on Area 8...so I'm SO happy for him. xP Cisco is still in first and second his two divisions, even though that he's been out for like, 2 months or so. Wierd, eh?? He was THAT good. Speaking of Cisco, the poor boy is ripping himself apart, litterally, in his like stall rest of FOREVER. I feel so bad for him...

Gawd, I'm SO nervous for Thursday, because I am trying out for honor's choir. To try out, you have to sing for the teacher, Mrs. Senek. I think I'll do well, or so I hope.

7TH ANNUAL CATCH-UP ♥♥

School is my life right now, so grrrrr.

• I sadly haven't ridden in a while...school, the weather, after-school activities, and blah. But, I'm gonna ride tomorrow!! So, I'm pretty excited. xD
• Mom, Al & I went and checked out the barn. It's a privately owned barn, so we didn't look inside or anything; we just drove past. xD We had a really HILARIOUS time going over there...haha.
  
• Band ROCKS. Officially. I've decided it's my favorite class. It's soooo high-energy, and yea. I have SO much fun being like, 2 feet away from Mr. Alexis everyday, with all of my extremely hyper friends. Oh man is it fun. xD
• I have pretty much finished my C-Manual for Pony Club. hehe. Although I don't belong to the Pony Club, I have two manuals, D and C. I can't find my D....I better look for it......
• My cell phone has gone missing!! This isn't good....
• School is wearing me out!! Gawd...

I hate mornings....so I better go to bed.

LAND!! ♥♥

It's been raining for like, two days non-stop now!! It was POURING and t-storming on Saturday, which was fun to watch from my room. That was really funny, because I was talking to RAE-BAY for 45 minutes and then it started to rain...xD

I'm a bit stressed about finding a barn...I need one that meets Gael's criteria and my mom's. Like Gael said, I have to put the horse first. I guess I could board somewhere at first, and then move around later...

Speaking of barns, I saw Madeline's ad in the paper the other day. Pretty sh-weet. It's basically the PERFECT ad that should attract people....

Since it's been raining, I haven't ridden in awhile, which is nonsense. I hate it because it's wet and humid. Bad combo.

Well, gotta go to school. Skimpy post, yea yea.

DURADO ON MONDAY!!!! ♥♥

OH. MY. GAWD.

I RODE DURADO ON MONDAY!!!!!! He was ah-mazing to ride, and extremely difficult to tack up and brush since he's a baby and tries to nip at you every two seconds. Durado is one of Anne's horses, and used to be on the track. He has been showing with Karl for aorund 2 months or so, so I was impressed. He canters PERFECTLY, and naturally puts his head down in the on the bit position, with just a little suppling. Durado jumps PERFECTLY as well!! He will round his back over the jump, just like a professionally trained jumper would. I just can't believe that Durado is like, 3, and is already doing all of this. Also, he's not terribly spooky, which is good for him at his age. Lordy was freaking out over the shadows, and Durado could care less. MAN I LOVE DURADO!! [[Reno had a day off since he was on a show Friday, Saturday, Sunday....He was 8th!!]]

I also rode Lordy, and did a little dressage and a little jumping with him. Mad got on Lordy once, and so we switched horses to ride. Soooo, I was riding Broad!! It was kinda funny because in one day, I had ridden all of Anne's horses at the barn. Hehe. Broad has a big stride, and was lisghtly lame in his left hind, so I was like "Wooow." Broad ended up liking me a bunch, which was kinda funny. Lordy is just, Lordy.

School has been a mess, but a fun mess!! I enjoy the part of school, but I hate the homework part, and the detention part, and yea. Of course, my fav class is BAND!! I was in the band last year, and so Mr. Alexis is still my band teacher. WHOO!!

I tried cross-country yesterday and boy do I hurt. OUCH. I think that after a few practices I'm gonna pull out, because I'm really not meant to be a runner, I've learned....

School starts soon, gotta runnnn!

• I'm riding tomorrow in the morning, before Madeline leaves to trailer Mojo to Cincy!!!! WHOOOO!!!!!
• Reno && Mad were 8TH at the show!! Mad says that she wants to keep him at B/N for a few more shows, then bump him up to Novice!! SQUEE
• Petey and Karl were 3rd at their show...they were in 1st, but knocked a rail in Stadium at the last second, bumping them down
• Gael has found a horse that will be in Loveland, Ohio...which apparently is near Cincy...and he's a Paint/Dutch Warmblood cross. He's been a packer for a 14 y/o girl for quite some time, and is schooling x-c at Lexington this week and next week. He'll be in Ohio soon!! I think he sounds awesome!! I'm gonna try him....if my parents will let me xD
• Gawd am I glad that we have tomorrow off.....I keep thinking that I have school tomorrow.....yikes

5TH ANNUAL CATCH-UP ♥♥

Wow, I'm badd. xD No posts since LAST WEEK!!??

• I rode Renoooooo the other day, and now he's at a show with Mad!! The weather is PERECT, so yea and nay. I can't ride, but I'm happy for Mad and Renie because of the prefect weather. Reno was pretty good, but I didn't get to jump him as much as I wanted, because Madeline wanted to save his jumps up for the show. Ahhh well. OH YESSSSS, Mad says that if Renie does well at this show, she's going to bump him up from BEGINNER NOVICE to NOVICE!!!!! The last time Mad was at a Novice event was the event where Cisco broke down, so I'm happy and nervous for her. I'm glad that Reno is soooo prefect for Madeline now. =D
• I've ridden Lordy the past two out of three times I've ridden since I was back from Maine. I just thought I'd let everyone know. xD Lordy was awesome, but he's certainly now adventurous and ah-mazing like Reno. I still love Lordy. =D
• My dad talked to Mad the other day, about barns and boarding and yuck, and Mad also told him about horses at her barn that I could lease or buy. She told me that I could lease Lordy for free, or buy Durado for a good price. Durado is a green horse, so I don't really know...
• OMGG I'M SO EXCITED!!! I THINK THAT THE NEXT TIME I GO OVER TO MADS I'M GONNA RIDE DURADO!!!!!!!!

4RD ANNUAL CATCH-UP ♥♥

Sooo much has been going on lately. xD

• THE STORM!!! OHMIGAWD that was really scary today. Today there was severe weather in Ohio. There were massive thunderstorms, clouds that looked like the end of the Earth, funnel clouds, a funnel cloud touch down, and lots of rain, wind and noise. Pretty much everyhting. Haha. So, my dad is driving my brother and his friend over to their friends house for a mass sleepover, and I came too to drop them off. So, I am getting freaked out by the clouds when BOOM, the rain is let out of the clouds and the floodgates up there just break away. The rain was coming down sooo hard, and my safe old dad is just driving the car, a little slower than usual. I was really scared, and wanted to pull over. Then, the wind would like, pour EXTRA rain onto our car sooo it was scary.
• Barnssss...Yes, my parents and I are looking madly for a place that meets many different standards. I'll list them; close by/not to far away, not on the west side, some place with safe neighborhoods, a place that will take outside instructors, a place that has a god price, etc. Sooo, my dad drove up the Equus Now!, the "local" tack shop. They are moving, just down the street really, so they were closed. This lady that works there asked if we needed anything urgently, and we didn't but I had lost my newsletter, which had barn ads in it. Sooo, Jen [[I think]], is like, "Oh, we have them in the new store." So she lets us in the new place!! WOOT! It's muchhhh bigger than the old one, and is currently bare. I'M SO EXCITED!

Sigh, I'm quite tired. So, more to come tomorrow!!

3RD ANNUAL CATCH-UP ♥♥

Soooo, I haven't posted in awhile, I see. =D

• Today Mom & I checked out a barn to board at. It was reallllly nice, and I liked it a ton. The facilities are brand new, so that's why it looks all fancy-shmancy. It's $450/month to board, but it would really pay off. They say that they allow outside instructors, for only $15 per day to use the arenas. It has a 100x200 indoor, and sits on like, 25 acres of land. Beautiful really. But then I called Mad to tell her, and she told me all this junk about the people who work there, and how she wouldn't want to board in the winter and/or teach lessons there all year round. Eh, oh well.
• Today I FINALLY got around to playing my ALL TIME FAVORITE GAME IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD .......... The Sims [Deluxe Editon, Pets Expansion Pack, and Makin' Magic add-ons.]!! Well, that's a funny story actually ... not really. xD I just haven't played it in FOREVER, so it was pretty fun to finally play it again.
• Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 & Cars won't work on out computer. GRRR. I ADORE both games, yes I'm quite nerdy. So, that's quite annoying.
• THE WEATHER. YICK. [<-- new word!] It's humid like NOBODY'S BUSINESS, and it's going to be in the 90's all week long. I was talking to Mad today, and I'm like, "Yeah, I don't think I'm gonna be riding this week!" and she's like, "Yea! Call me when it cools down!" We had a good laugh out of that one. xD
• School starts back up on the 28th ... so yea. I have "Cougar Crawl" tomorrow, which is like orientation basically. That should be fun, except for the fact that my last name time slot isn't the same as my two bff's; Emma and Rachael. [[[[Yes, Rachael and I have since "made-up", so we are friends again.]]]] I guess I could see others....
• Oh gosh, I just realized something. I think I missed try-out dates for fall sports....maybe they will happen later. Whoops.

Home Again, Home Again ♥♥

So I'm back in OHIO. I flew on Skybus from the Pease Airport, which was quite an experience. My Mom flew back since I was still in Maine for three-four days after my parents and brother left. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was just barely too young to fly alone. I really came back on Thursday, but I've been sooooo busy...

• Ohio is well, hot. Hotter than Maine. MUCH hotter than the Maine coast. Gawd I miss the ocean. xD Mattie, my cousin told me that there was a JUMBO storm last night. Glad I missed that sucker.
• HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2. omg, grrrrrrreat movie!!! I love the almost end where Gabriella and Troy are kissing in the sprinklers....cute. I thought that they had WAYYYY too many songs though, which was a little corny in my perspective. But still, GREAT MOVIE!!!!! I swear, in the VERY end, I saw Miley Cyrus dancing around in a yellow shirt during the staff pool party. xD

• I still haven't ridden yet, and I'm pretty sure that I will soon. I guess I'll just have to call Madeline. The weather is getting better and better, luckily. =D I better upload those pics of me on Black. xP

Speaking of horses, I got an e-mail from Gael yesterday telling me that once I got back in Ohio that she wanted me to TEST SOME HORSES that were in Ohio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG I about died when I read that e-mail. I think I might be up there near Gael for a party and mightttt be able to ride with her and MAYBE see these horses. =D

Well, breakfast is a nice thought.

Maine Life ♥♥

So I guess that the best days of my life are happening right underneath my nose and I really haven't realized it, quite frankly. So far, my life in Maine has been sh-weet. My rest of my family left Maine today, and Mattie and her family came ... so WHOOP-DE-DOO!!!! xD

I also went to RidgeWay today and rode Black. All of the horses are going into Operation JIGHHRSTHASOUJHR aka Operation JOHN IS GETTING HIS HIP REPLACED S THE HORSES ARE STAYING OUT UNTIL JOHN HAS RECOVERED. hahahaha. Black was little lame, but not too bad. I showed him to my parents, since Moe was the only one home with the kids.

• Shannon and her Dad left this morning, and they were like, "I can't believe that we just were here...". Long story.
• Mads and I made a sh-weet video for YOUTUBE!!!!! INSIDE JOKE ALERT.
• ERIKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I'm calling you becauseee I misssss yaaa.
• The ocean rocks at high tide, and therefore sucks and looks pretty and low tide, I've learned from many attempts at boogie boarding. hahaha.
• Erghhhhhh ... Why does Maine suck up all my RGP time??
• I can't wait to play MINI-GOLF with Mads and Uncle RANDY!!! hahaha

2ND ANNUAL CATCH-UP

1. We JUST got back from HairSpray, the movie! OMG I LOVED IT!!! Nikki Blonksy is so darn cute, and she is amazing at signing and dancing. A MUST-SEE movie by me!!
2. My cousin Shaye is here, because her boyfriend from French camp is here, so I'm excited to see her! The last time I saw her was in December, but I've talked to her a whole bunch over AIM.
3. Tonight we are going to see Damn Yankees, a play about baseball. Sooooo I guess my brother is excited, since he LOVES baseball.
4. The ocean is cold, and somewhat evil. I got the chills yesterday and a sore-ish throat yesterday and today from the ocean. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
5. RidgeWay ... Will I be able to go over there before my parents leave so that that I can show them Black?? I sure hope so!!

THE MORNING GLOSSIP

Today

• Nottt toooo much is going on today, that I really know of. I guess you could say that I don't really plan my days and stick to the plan very well. I just kinda do things, you know? Well, I'm a lame-o, so yeah. xD
• I do think that I am going to go see Circuis Smirkis, or something like that. Apparently it's a circuis full of high school kids, or just kids. Well, that should be fun. I could see it tomorrow if I wanted too.
• I'm slightly tired, [sigh]. I HAD HAD HAD to read this one part in my book, so I went to bed around 11:30. I woke up at 6:40, but fell right back asleep!! xD Then, I re-woke to go to the bathroom around 7:30. I just couldn't fall back asleep! I laid in bed for, like, it felt like FOREVER even though it was just 30 minutes. So, I'll crash and burn early tonight.
• I'm going to be e-mailing Gael a whole bunch, just so that the horse search may still continue.

Well, my breakfast is ready and I think I just may go out to the beach today.

Oh my gosh, I've been talking to Rae-Lynn for like, 9 hours this whole day, through AIM. I must remember to call it AIM, not A I M. Haha, Rae told me to, and I want to start a 'new-revolution' at school or something. I have to say it aim, like the word. Example; I am aiming the basketball at the hoop. Well, whatev. xD

So I guess I have my 'week' planned, or atleast tomorrow.

MONDAY
Relax and sleep in, play in the ocean, tan, play on the compy. 50-50 for riding.

TUESDAY
Same as Monday. Also, go to TARGET!! and buy a compy game. Maybe ride.

WEDNESDAY
Have my friends come over to the beach [if it doesn't happen on Tuesday], and wait for my parents && brother to come over. If-y for riding.

i JUST got back from RIDGEWAY, and had a GGGGGREAT time. =D i basically could ride any horse i wanted to and not do any work or anything, just because John loves me like that. xD really, i just rode two horses the whole time, BINGO! and BLACK! [darn, i forgot to take PICS!!!!]

MAINE `07 ++ catch up.;; ♥|♥

MONDAY
i was at Nana's house overnight from Sunday so i could ride with GAEL! for a few days. luckily i got to ride till Wednesday, instead of Tuesday! so, i woke up and then i ate and etc. once i was at Gael's, i did stall work and said hi to all the horses. i let Malta, poor boy, do what he wanted to do with me. i feel so bad for him! he tore his superficial tendon, but isn't lame. he's on a 60 day lay-up, and is in wraps on his front fores. he absolutely hates his wrap on his bad leg, because it creates heat and he messes with it. but, poor Multi is bored to tears in his stall. he's the kind of horse that needs the outdoor interaction and the riding. xD

but, then i caught up with Michelle and everything, and then groomed Argos and Multi. finally, Gael and i went over to Hans! and tacked him up, and we both lunged him. then, after i lunged him i got to walk and trot him. Hansy broke his back right about a year or two ago and so he swings his leg around, and you can really feel it in his gait! he's kind of our idiot also, so we joke about him. he's TB i believe, but anyway, i was glad to ride him because i was one of the few!

later, SARAH!!!! came by, and omg i haven't seen or heard of/from her since i was like, 5 years old. haha, so i was SOOOOOO glad to see her. then, we did more chores around the barn and such.

Nana and I had fun back at home. xP she got a new cell phone, and i programmed it for her. we had a few good laughs about that. really, Gael actually stayed with us for dinner, because she wanted to tour the house a little bit. we had a great meal out in the garden. we had some great talks. haha.

TUESDAY

i had the worst night in the heat, but i still had fun at Gael's. Michelle and I did barn chores and such and she left. i don't remember what happened after that, then Gael and I drove over to Equestrian Therapy where Michelle and Sarah work so i could ride a bunch of different horses.

first i had a spot of lunch, then i got on Azera and rode around on her for a while. i really liked the little mare. she was long backed and short, so it was a little different than Hansy! xD i really like her in dressage, but she was easily tired so we had many walk breaks. she was a great little pony that was very response, quiet and knew her stuff!

then after cooling off Azie, Gael let me cool down sevi, the owner and/or starter of ET's ANDY gelding, and i just walked and trotted him. he had something the matter with his leg, so he had a bit of a funny gait, like HANS! hehe.

later, i was given a little therapy sesion on Elmer. Elmer is THE most adorable little pony i have EVER seen!!! he's a little black sheltie with a some white on his nose. omg i loved him. and he knows his name, so when you call him over, it's like he knows he's sooo cute. Sarah and a two of the volunteer girls around my age gave me my little therapy session. i sat on two bareback pads and rode sideways and backwards. Elmer is still in training, so we were just breaking him in. xD we had a great time.

after that, i tacked up this OMG beautiful appy gelding named Phoenix. Phoenie was great, i did some GREAT dressage on him. he had a trot to die for, and i could sit it no-prob. i loved Phoenie so much! he had a great personality and knew most of the things that Gael and I asked him for. I didn't canter him, but he did break into the canter once when i used my stick a teensie bit too much at first. i do wish i could have cantered him, but i was too busy working on circles with him. he was soooo beautiful and wonderful, i just couldn't believe Phoenie was 20-something!! xD

WEDNESDAY

i started the day with some barn chores with MICHELLE!!!! and wrapped Multi. then, we grabbed some lunch and washed lilo, the chicken! omg that was hilarious. Gael and i still get a good laugh out of that one. lilo just sat in the sink and got out and her behind was bare. pretty much completely bare. so we call her the BB, bare butt. xD

then, we tacked ROMI! up and Gael rode him first. she calls him the school bus because of his giant-ness. he's around 17-18 hands, hano, gelding, 11. i love him, even though he's a little nippy and can be very mean at times. his feet are HUGEE!! xD so, romi's gait is incedibly BIG. i didn't want to throw him off balance or anything, so i worked on posting then sitting a few sections of the circle. we worked in a circle both ways at the trot, not on the lunge. romi was great. i absoluetly love him. =D

after that, i got on TOM! and worked a WHOLE WHOLE bunch on him. he is a great great horse, but only certain people can ride him because sometimes he gets really wierd about riders. also, when he gets nervous, he gets so quick and has a flash back to his old and bad life and goes haywire most times. he loves to jump, and i wish i could jump him! so, tommie's trot is THE BEST. so i can do anything on him. touch my toes, hug him, lay on his back. you name it, i could do it sitting the trot without stirrups. then, i did some work on his canter, which is awesome. i can really think about what i'm doing with him. of course, i ride him on the lunge because of his little flash backs. tom was great.

then my mom and brother picked me up and we drove back. my dad met them halfway and we talked then dad and i drove out to this cute barn where we were thinking about boarding my horse once i get one. i loved the place, and the people were very nice. also, and old friend of mine is there!!! go SAM!!!!!

so, i'm going up for my annual trip to Maine, and i'm leaving tomorrow. i'm waking up @ FIVE AM! ouch! so, this is LINDZ signing off for a week and a few days. i'll have so many details in a week and few days!!

so, i'll just summarize the past few days.

THE BANQUET

on wednesday, there was the annual BCC swim & dive team banquet were all the swimmers and divers are recognized and are given trophies for the season of hard work. i got the 'alexander-wright award'. hahahaha, it's really just an inside joke. ok, see, megan alexander is a breaststroke maniac who is a coach on BCC, and jamie wright is a butterfly maniac who is also a coach at BCC. and since my two strokes are breast and free, jim was smart to put them together. j-wright + megan, jim + i got a god hoot.

LAST NIGHT DEFINES OMG;; ♥|♥

o. m. g.

last night was the annual CCL [country club league] swim championships. so, it's just the biggest and best-est meet ever. =D you want fast times, and BCC wanted to WIN; or at least do really well.

so, results? BCC was 7th overall, out of 12. We put up a good fight, for having 90 swimmers.
i had pretty bad times, since i'm on the mend. [my shoulder was THROBBING with pain yesterday morning when i woke up] jim said yesterday morning, 'don't swim, don't swim!' for practice, but i did anyway. xD

fly = 39 seconds. not too too bad. one goggle was dislogded after the start, and i was practically blinded after the turn. my record [from districts] was 37 seconds, but that's ok. i ended up 16th overall. being the only BCCer in the WHOLE event, i had a personal cheer squad for me. 'slow time or no time!' as jim would say. i love that man.

breast = 43 seconds. i dropped .25 seconds, so i guess i was ok. my turn was pretty good, and i was proud. like in fly, i was the only BCCer for the whole event, so i had everyone cheering for me. i was 5th overall. my seed time from districts was 4th, so i guess i was ok.

medley relay = ok seconds. we were just ok, and our backstroker was a year younger than us, so she didn't know how to do a flip turn. we were 19th.

free relay = pretty good seconds. we had two younger kids, but one was realllly good, so it was almost like we had one younger kid. oh wait, we did have three of us and one younger kid. whoops. it felt like we had two younger kids, and one younger kid who was as good as us just about. we ended up....9th. pretty dag good. xD

so, after it was over, grace and her family, kate and her family and libby and her family, and my mom and i went out to this cute pub, and were there for like two hours. omggggg we had SO MUCH FUN!!

OH YES, on sunday, i went to a CLEVELAND INDIANS game with Emma, my bestie. the TRIBE kicked but over Kansas City, so we were happy. i LOVE emma's dad...omg. xP we are like, one big joke.

the ride today.....and, well, news...;; ♥|♥

well, i'll do it like this.

THE NEWS
today i came to ride, and madeline and karl pulled up into their driveway RIGHT after mom and i came, but i was already in the barn. i thought that they were just mingling around....so i was saying hey to all the horses that were in [lordy and reno weren't in...], and karl, madeline and my mom were just standing around, moon faced. well, they were talking! so, i'm like "hey!" and then a 10 seconds short summary of my trip. then, it was like silent for a moment and madeline says, "lindsey, there's been a problem." at that, i lost all the blood in my face. i thought that reno had died or something. but no, it was just as bad. madeline's prized gelding, Cisco II [cisco], broke-down. i was really really really in a state of shock. basically, i think that cisco just had a bad jump, and it threw him over the edge. well, cisy is 15. =D
so, i don't really wanna go into all the detail, because it makes me feel all dizzy and lightheaded like i felt when she told me.

so, this means that reno won't be up for sale anymore. this means that reno will be taking cisco's place!! xD so, i'm excited for reno. his first rated show is in two weeks, so that should be exciting...haha. omgg, that reminds me. reno got 4 shoes!! xD he hasn't really needed shoes until now, because he needs studs. xD

THE RIDE
so, i rode reno today. =D he was awesome, because he's nice and quiet now. but, i do like his wild side...haha. i was jumping the new cross-country jump today. it was sweeeeet! reno was also getting his leads nicely in the field while jumping. we only asked for his better lead, the left lead, in the ring because we wanted him to stay quiet. oh yes, that reminds me. reno is 400% better in dressage now. he is really stretching down now, and listening more to the rider by just a smidge. it's very nice though. he's going onto the bit easier and more nicely now also. i love it. =D except, now i need to use a big dressage whip so that he will think about dressage. xD

random news that needs a bolded title
so, i had a sweet friend who babysit me and al tonight, and we were walking allll over my town. i decided to ride my wave board instead. al and moira, babysitter, rode scooters. so i was coming down a sidewalk, and lost control of my board and crashed. really, i tried to stop but i ended up crashing anyways. whoops. so now my pinkie finger that i thought was dead-ish has developed a hard and VERY swollen bruise. i also have a HUGEEE cut on my left palm, and a really harsh rock dent thing on my left arm. my elbow got some damage too. my left leg was just kinda scraped and all dry, but a little bloody. so, i sat there on the sidewalk completely in pain but not knowing what to do. so i cried. =D then had to walk home!

districts from tonight;; ♥|♥

can i say OH MY GAWD???

ok, well, so, here's the deal. this year for championships, the commitee or what-not got smart and decided to have districts/semi-finals tonight and at 4 different CC's instead of all on one day at one CC or pool. sooo, there were dual meets at all four CC's, but at BCC there were 3 CC's because the 3rd CC was reallllyyy small, so it was just like a mega team i guess. xP

anyway, tonight was kind of the night when you wanted to swim faster than your seed time so that you could make it into finals. then at finals, swim ya hart out baby. xPP sooooo, my events tonight were 50 [meter] butterfly and 50 [meter] breaststroke. i dropped THREE SECONDS on fly, placing THIRD!!!!!!! woooo-hoooo!! on breast, i kinda sucked. i was second, and dropped .20 seconds!! woo?? haha, "a drop's a drop" as J-WRIGHT says. i placed 2nd in breast...no biggie.

i was really hyper tonight so i took a picture of my friend in my sunglasses making a wierd face. she loked at it and was like, "i look like i'm mugging you!" so we had a good laugh. then, before i left i took a picture of aaron's hair, because it was like, DEAD straight up and had orange spray lines. XD i luffed it. aaron usually spikes his hair, but tonight he put it straight up; i cracked up. so the picture is really bad, because you can't see any orange. oh well, i guess!! XD

i'm B-AAAAA-CKK;; ♥|♥

sooo, i got home last night around 6, 6:30-ish. but to my body, it felt like 11-ish. i'm still jet lagged. i hate jet lag. grrrrrr.

anyway, my trip back was ummm frightful and delightful. interesting, right? well, first we had EXTREMELY tight connections between flights, so our first flight from inverness to gatwick was ok. then, gatwick to newark was omg omg omg. we had the terminal the FARTHEST away from us, and we thought that we were going to miss the flight. luckily, the boarding line was held up for some odd reason, so we slipped in unnoticed for our inactivity. then, we fly over the big drink of water for 6 hours and 20 minutes and land in newark, new jersey. so, all is well and then we get to customs and security in newark. yikes much. we had to sprint to the gate, and hold the plane for my dad. [my dad has two artifical hips. they were replaced about 6 years ago, because we was born with arthritis on his hips.] well, there was ANOTHER hold-up, but this time is was in the chute that lets you go onto the airplane. so, we slipped in unnoticed again. xD once we board the plane, it's clear that it's hot. it was 97 * F outside, and the piliot told us that the a/c was low. so, there's a stupid screaming baby with a dumb-butt mother in a 97 degree airplane. "luckily", alec [my brother] and i got "lovely" seats in the back of the plane next to a silent and creepy looking guy from japan. then, we wait at the gate because the people had to do "paper work" so that the a/c would work. by now, the flight attendants are serving ice cold water, and these abnoxious kids are running up &. down the aisle. so, then we all get ready to take off, and we push off from the gate in extreme heat and hurting eardrums. once we get on the runway, there's a GIANT line for take-off and landing, so the piliot tells us that we have a long wait. but then, they tell us that newark decided to close up. omg it was horrible. we sat in on the runway for an hour, then newark re-opened and we took off. the 1 hour and 10 minute flight felt longer than the 6 hour flight. the heat was horrible, and this baby was screaming it's head off. there was sooo much air turbulence, and yikes i hated it.

so, then we get to the home airport to discover that my luggage and my dad's luggage didn't make the connection from newark. so, this morning it 'magically' arrived at our doorsteps. xP

well, that's pretty much my trip there. haha, not really. i'll get some pics up and going, and it will be great. =D

well, let's get to the point. sctoaldn has been AH-MAZING like i've expected it to. =D my cousin and her family just left today to fly to NYC [i hate her...lol] @ 7 am over here. she's going to see musicals, and her friend that just moved over to NYC, so i'm glad that see's leaving, yet not. ;]

i'm going to stay until tuesday? yea, around then. i'll be busy, with swimming champs and all soo yea. i'll talk about swimming later. ;]

yikes, i have so many things to tell, but so little time!!! i still am waiting for good enough weather [it's been rainy-ish] and the time for my mom and i to go to this one barn about 30 minutes away that we sign up as experts and we get to....GALLOP!!! woot, it's fun. =D

i have some EXCITING and SAD news, that i will tell later. too much to type in 10 mintues!! haha, i'm gonna go poor if i try!!

so, I'm leaving for SCOTLAND.....TODAY!!!!!! i'm cuttin' it slightly close, eh? i leave for the airport @ 11 am....

my family's roots trace back into the highlands, and there's even a castle in our last name. =D it's pretty much complety DEAD and falling apart. xD so, this will be our, hmmm, 6th time to scotland? yes. =D

i can't WAIT to see my cousin, MATTIE. [scroll down to the post called 'pics of the fam.' or something like that and there's my dah-ling couzz] she's back from spanish camp in wisconsin or michigan...so i'm bringing a handy-dandy-let's-speak-spanish booklet. xP mads and i run a fake bussiness every year called 'The Kookie Corral'. this year we are planning to use REAL food. [lol inside joke....] mads and i also chase CHICKENS!!!! and then we collect their eggs and get half of the money collected. =D

another thing to look forward to in scotland is the PONIES!!!!! a) the place where we stay every other year has 4 ponies [i hope the still have them!] on about 100 acres of highland right next to the house. b) my mom and i are going to ride at this place that we go to every time we come to scotland. we sign up as experts and get to GALLOP. yesh yesh, funnn funnnn xP

last night was AH-MAZING...;; ♥|♥

yesh, like the title says. i rode R E N O last night. =D maybe that's why. lol first time since the show, which was exactly a week ago from today. [shudders.] yikes.

so, Reno was still a little 'jet-lagged' from the show, and so he was extremely slowwww and lazyy. well, at least he was when i was doing flatwork with him. xP so, Mad put up a cross-rail, then a vertical, then it was a HUGEE vertical. so, she said that since he was quiet in the ring, he would be great in the field. she was right. i jumped the barrels, which are hard because they are circular and tall, which was a first in a while with Reno. Reno would usually take off after a jump like that, but since he was tired, he just cantered quietly after it.

then, i worked on tight show jumping turns, which was sooooo much fun. =D Reno and I were PERFECT on every single one. it rawked.

after that we went into the woods and did the bank four or five times, and Reno was .... PERFECT. we then crossed the creek and did the ditch twice. it was kinda scary though....i don't like the ditch too much myself, and Reno thinks it's going to eat him.

then, i jumped a few logs out across the creek and we went back in, calling it a PERFECT day. =D

i'm soo excited that Reno is doing so well.

WARNING....maddddddd girl on the loose;; ♥|♥

Ok, this may sound silly, but it's kind-of a big deal to me.

One of my best friends [named Rachael] has this 'best' friend named Sarah, who lives down the street from her. Apparently, they've known each other for 9 years or something like that. They go to each other's houses a bunch, and are really good friends [Sarah is one year younger than us.] So, Rachael being my best friend, tells well complains to me that Sarah copies her on everything. One day, she told me everything that Sarah has copied from her. Example; a one-strap backpack, posters on every wall of her bedroom,
horse-back riding [of course, they BOTH ride western. and i despise of western.], and then it comes down to hair-cuts and clothes.

So, I told Rachael that she should join HorseLand, and that she should board at my stable. [I still play HL. =D] So, then Rachael said that when she was at Sarah's house, she was checking on her horses, and then Sarah copied her and joined. Well, I was kinda glad because I knew that I knew a few members, and then I could do some cheap business. xP So, through out the school year Rachael and I were trying to hack into Sarah's account so that we could destroy it and change the password and do all this mean stuff to get back at her for copying Rachael. Well, it never really worked.

Sarah and I have had a very, um, rocky relationship per say. When she's on HL, she's pretty much a different person. When we have disputes on HL we are like enimies, then we see each other and we are like best friends. Wierd, right?

Just about a week ago, Sarah sent me this stupid message that really ticked me off. She said something like, 'ur so obessed with reno and he isnt evn ur own horse.' Well, here's one of my my 'motto's of life'....Insulting Reno means insulting me, and when you insult me, you are DEAD. So, then I sent her a message back telling her that she needs to wisen up. Then we got into this big insult fight, and I told her that she was a fake because she's copied Rachael practiaclly her whole life. [It's true.] Sarah then sent me about 10 messages saying stuff like, 'rachael says stuff behind your back.' [We NEVER do that. Trust me, Rachael and I have known each other for a while, and I think we've only done that crap once; and it was on a stupid subject that we just laugh about now.] and 'you just broke up 9 years of friendship. you got ur wish' and etc. [She also told me that she was a really talented and almost professional rider and horsewoman, and Rachael says that she doesn't quite fully know how to name all the pieces of tack that she uses on her horse. Rachael and I are very true to each other, and when ever we fight, about 2 days later at the max we are friends again. [Although I need to train her to be an ENGLISH rider. xP That should be fun. XD] So, we never lie to one another. So, one of my messages that I sent her was 'you should learn to ride better.' or something like that. Yes, I know I shouldn't have said it but, hey, she insulted Reno, which insults me, and when you insult me...never mind...

So, right now I'm EXTREMELY ticked at Sarah. Rachael even E-MAILED ME to tell me that Sarah was mad at me. Yikes. I'm not scared.

baseball, yadi-yadi-yaa;; ♥|♥

So, I'm on pins and needles today. My brother's baseball team is in their second day in their U-10 tournament. It's supposed to be the '4th of July' tournament. Yikes, their a LITTLE off.

I forgot to call Madeline [my instructor] last night because I was playing with my brother all night then wathcing T.V. By the time I remembered, it was too late.

the show....;; ♥|♥

on the 25th, i was in my FIRST mini-trial. =D a mini-trial consists of the same 3 events in a 3-day event [dressage, show jumping and cross-country], but it happens all in one day because the highest class in probably 3 feet; and 20 fences at 3 feet in one day isn't too bad. [compared to what the pro's do.]

reno and i were in the very green horse, and were jumping 1 foot fences. reno really just stepped over them. xP

andddd...we placed.......................................2nd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we lost the blue by 3 points. not bad for our *picks fingernails* first time. the girl who beat me said that it was her 5th time or something, and her horse was totally experianced. well, reno is only 5 and has been in training for around 2 years now. haha girlie who beat me. xD

ok, well, woo-hoo!!!

i'm learning my INWARD!!!!!!!!! an inward is where you are on the edge of the board like you are going to do a backdive, then you jump up and go into a tuck and then dive in normally. you end up facing the board still, as compared to a regular dive where you face away. [because i'm scared to do my flip after yesterday. i smacked reallllllly badly, and i'm nervous about it.] i also have perfected my PERFECTLY AWESOME backdive. =D

practice was INCREDIBLY hard today. we did this nonsense drill that confused me and my lane buddy, Grace. we would have a send off time on say 60, then the next was on the 55, then it was just plain confusing. YUCK. :] i still love swimming anyway. ;]

i'll post again soon, maybe even later tonight. OH YEA. i have baby-sitting @ 6:30...and NO computer access at all. yea, it sucks. ;]

my my my, I'm dead. I do love my Country Club pool, but I'm there like, 24/7/365 just about.

2 hours at the pool can really kill you; it really can. I think that at the first swim/dive meet of the season [which was a home meet] I was at Brookside for 12 of the 15 hours i was awake. Yikes much.

[Background Info; BCC stands for Brookside Country Club, the CC I belong to. Aaron, Jamie, Emma, Ryan, Meghan, Jim and Katheleen [well, she's the diving coach!] are the coaches there. Jim is the pool manager, and is the head swim coach. He also happens to be my swim coach. ;D ]
